On Monday, May 14  a group of us were treated to a very special evening with Dennis Ralston. Dennis, a former top world pro, holder of several Grand Slam doubles titles, Davis Cup Captain, Davis Cup Coach & College coach and Coach of the Year at SMU, was on hand to give us his insights into the modern game as well as recall tales of the good ol’ days.

Dennis started by drilling 3 nationally ranked juniors, showing us what he felt important to develop and train juniors. He then conducted a clinic for adults and juniors, which was followed by a junior exhibition involving Alex Tsai of Binghamton, Ian & Alex Van Cott of Unadilla, and Steve, a visiting nationally ranked junior form Texas.

The event was informative and enjoyable, and we thank Dennis for making an appearance here in Binghamton.
