The Binghamton Tennis Center is a year round private membership club. In operation since 1972, BTC has been under the current ownership for the past 20 years.We have six indoor courts and eight outdoor courts. In constructing two more indoor courts in the summer of 1998, we now have a complete, state of the art, modern facility. Our 1st two indoor courts are plexicushion, which were resurfaced in August of 2002. This is a unique surface, with a uniturf rubberized base and four coatings of the plexicushion coating system. The result is one of the finest and high quality indoor surfaces you will find. Cts 3-6 are Plexipave courts, a high quality indoor acrylic manufactured by California Products, the same company that makes Plexipave.. Our indoor facility includes lockers, showers, a spacious lounge and upstairs viewing area, a fully equipped pro shop and Aces Bar.

Our outdoor facilities include six Har Tru clay courts and two resurfaced hard courts. With an outdoor swimming and wading pool, covered patio and picnic area, basketball court, and 7 acres of land, our facility lends itself to a beautiful country setting just minutes from downtown Binghamton.

Each year we embark on a renovation project. For the 2005-2006 season, we resurfaced courts 3 & 4 with plexicushion, a 7 layer coating system that provides much valued cushion that one does not normally find in your average hard court. Our 2006-2007 project was a lounge renovation as well installing a new ceiling/insulation system on cts 5 & 5

Members are entitled to play in contracts or leagues, participate in tournaments, reserve courts up to one week in advance, participate in mixed doubles parties, special events, a variety of lesson offerings, have full use of our facilities, and receive discounts to our pro shop. Staff includes six full time pros, a league coordinator, office, pro shop and finance manager, stringer, grounds keeping crew and trained desk employees. Our hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 7 am to midnight and Friday through Sunday, 8am to 10 pm.
